BEMRIX / MULTI-VENDOR COMMERCE
SmartShop /
Three apps.
One marketplace.

THE CHALLENGE
Commerce is more
than a storefront.
A multi-vendor platform connects several different kinds of work. Customers discover and order products. Sellers maintain inventory and process orders. Delivery personnel handle the final handoff. Each role needs its own interface, while product and order information must remain connected.
SmartShop was developed as a Bachelor’s final-year project to explore that complete system. This portfolio presents the three mobile application experiences, the web admin panel and their shared backend.
ONE CONNECTED SYSTEM
Different roles.
A shared source of truth.

01 / THE CUSTOMER APP
Discover. Choose. Make it yours.
The shopping experience brings products from independent sellers into one marketplace. Categories, product details and a shared cart give customers a familiar path from discovery to an order.
- Browse a multi-seller catalog and product details
- Manage a cart, saved items and delivery information
- Review order history and fulfillment status
02 / THE SELLER APP
A storefront. A business workspace.
Sellers need a different view of the same marketplace. Their dedicated app brings catalog management, order processing and business summaries together, keeping operational work close to the products they sell.
- Review sales and order summaries
- Browse and manage the store’s product catalog
- Review incoming orders and their current status
03 / THE DELIVERY APP
From an order to a doorstep.
A third app supports the fulfillment side of the platform. Assigned orders, delivery details and payment context help the delivery role understand what needs to happen next.
- View assigned orders and filter by status
- Inspect delivery information and order items
- Access wallet and cash-collection records
04 / THE WEB ADMIN PANEL
The whole marketplace.
One management console.
The three apps are supported by a browser-based administration panel built with PHP and CodeIgniter. It gives the platform operator a shared view across stores, customers, products and fulfillment, while each mobile app focuses on its own role.
These are actual screens from the restored admin panel, signed in with a fictional administrator and connected to the same local sample database as the apps.
Marketplace oversight
Review order counts, signups, product totals, sales charts, earnings summaries and stock alerts from the dashboard.
Catalog & inventory
Manage products, categories, brands, attributes and stock. The panel also includes bulk-upload tools and featured sections for organizing the storefront.
Seller administration
Review seller records and approval states, inspect store information and access seller wallet transactions.
Orders & operations
Review marketplace orders, payment methods and fulfillment status. Dedicated areas cover delivery personnel, returns, support tickets and sales reports.

Marketplace dashboard
A platform-wide overview of sample orders, catalog size, sales activity and stock alerts.

Product administration
A central catalog with seller and category filters, product status and management actions.

Order administration
A shared order workspace for reviewing customers, sellers, payment context and fulfillment.

Seller management
Store records and approval controls connect individual sellers to the wider marketplace.
Additional modules include promotions, notifications, payment requests, location management and system settings. Their presence is documented from the panel; external integrations and administrative write operations are outside this screenshot review.
ENGINEERING & RESTORATION
A substantial system.
Made reviewable.
The monorepo separates the customer, seller and delivery applications from a common CodeIgniter backend. Flutter provides the interfaces, Provider manages much of the application state, and role-specific API routes connect the apps to MySQL.
Preparing the original FYP for this showcase included repairing package imports, updating incompatible dependencies, adding configurable backend endpoints and resolving PHP 8 invoice errors. An isolated preview database keeps the demonstration separate from the original installation.
The screenshots are captured from the running Flutter browser builds and the PHP web admin panel. Product illustrations, stores, orders and account identities are sample content prepared for this presentation.
PROJECT CONTEXT
Academic roots.
Practical experience.
SmartShop is a Bachelor’s final-year project presented as part of the BEMRIX portfolio. It demonstrates a multi-role commerce system and its application workflows. It is not presented as a currently operating marketplace or a commissioned client engagement.
The local showcase does not process real payments, send customer notifications or dispatch deliveries. External payment, Firebase, mapping and shipping integrations require their own configuration and verification. Production security, dependency maintenance and device testing remain separate release work.
THE NEXT DECISION
From FYP
to a focused pilot.
Our separate technology assessment reviews the existing source and proposes priorities, architecture choices and delivery gates for a commercial pilot. These improvements are planned, not implemented.
